This Project comes from The National Capitol Graveyard.

Here a little tip for everyone care of "G" from the National Capitol Graveyard, if you see a stand up fan that someone has tossed out in the garbage, grab it. If you are not fortunate enough to stumble upon a standing fan in the garbage, be sure to check out the Salvation Army or Second Hand store in your area.

It makes the perfect stand for a haunted display. Last year "G." built 2 of them.

First get rid of the propeller fan part, now if the fan still turns from side to side it's even better. I  built a witch and scarecrow from a standing fan.

Using a standing fan gave my prop the simple animation I was looking for.  My props head moved fom side to side and it had 3 speeds.  (pictures to be uploaded soon).

Next you can decorate the fan's pole the way you what to - let those creative juices flow. This prop is so light, easy to make, and store away for the season.

This animatronic prop is cheap to make and best of all when you light them up and the kids see the head move, it scares them to pieces.
